This week's LBTV is an exclusive look in the studio as LB records horns for the new single/video, "Lies X 3" -- available on the forthcoming new album, AS U WERE.
LB is joined in the studio by the Jazz Mafia Horns.

Another week at LBHQ and if you've been keepin' up on LB's tweets on his Twitter page, you know that the brand new album, AS U WERE is nearly completed.
If you've been following LB on Twitter you would also know that the new single/video is called "Lies X 3" (that's Lies times 3) and it's coming soon!
Also got word that LB has a track on the latest Shaun White snowboarding video game!
On top of that, this month LB heads to Colorado with both The LB Trio (feat. Constance Lopez and DJ D-Sharp) as well as the entire Lyrics Born Re-View (feat. Joyo Velarde).
Take note of LB's appearance with Pretty Lights in Denver, CO on March 13th and SXSW in Austin, TX on March 19th.

Speakin' of DJ D-Sharp, who not only has been touring with LB and the Quannum Crew since the 90's, but has also appeared on Lyrics Born albums and hosts LBFM, the homie is dropping his very first single tomorrow at his website, www.THEREALDJDSHARP.com.
The track will be available as a FREE download, so make sure you check that out.
In other news, the latest issue of FILTER magazine features an article with Lyrics Born in which he discusses a lesson on soul history, the birth of the mixtape, and its subsequent decline. The issue hits stands March 5th, 2010 -- so make sure you pick up a copy!
And last, but most certainly not least, there's an interview clip with LB from Australia at the infamous Falls Fest via Falls TV.
Word up. We also want to send our prayers out to the people of Chile regarding the recent earthquake in that country and of course to the people in Haiti who have been hit the hardest. Please take a minute to donate what you can to help some of these less fortunate countries and let's hope we've seen the last of these tragic events for the time being.
And finally our hearts go out to GURU of Gang Starr and his family. Dude is in the hospital and they need our love and support. LB commented about this recently on his Twitter:
"Just heard the news about Guru from GangStarr. I'm prayin 4 you homie, I know you'll pull thru. Keepin our heroes in our prayers always."
In light of the tragedy in life, always look around and feel blessed for the things you have and the people you love. Peace y'all...
23 February 2010 : Record Release Party
What up, L-Beezies??!!
This past week was the release of Joyo Velarde's debut solo album "LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING" (on Quannum Projects and Mobile Home Recordings). Celebrating that release, Joyo, LB, Trackademicks, DJ D-Sharp, Mike Relm, Chuy Gomez (KMEL) and many others came out to show their love and support!
Hosted by our dude, LB, the album release party showcased Joyo with a full live band performing many of the tracks off of her new album.
Co-hosted by Trackademicks and DJ D-Sharp spinning before and after her set, Joyo Velarde's release party was a huge success!!!
Performing at Yoshi's San Francisco, Joyo entertained the intimate crowd with smokin' renditions of songs like "Take You Home", "Build This World", "Ticket To Love", the single "Certain Special Way" and many more.
LBTV of course was on hand to capture this magic on tape and this week's webisode is just that -- footage from the "LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING" record release party on February 18th, 2010. Enjoy!!!
